After many of years of experience we have come to the conclusion that once we minimize strife and conflict, divorce is very much like breaking up a business. Once, you were partners in marriage, you worked together, owned property together, and shared common goals. Unfortunately, divorce is the breakup of the marriage business. The goal is to end the marriage without unnecessary injury to one's psyche or assets.

Most experienced divorce attorneys know that mutual respect for both parties and the opposing lawyer serves to facilitate an efficient, less traumatic divorce. We prefer this approach and have helped many clients through the process without the need to go to court. Howerver, should it become necessary we are fully prepared to litigate issues which cannot be resolved without trial.
